Return of the Monster

The last time I said it, this dude spent the succeeding couple of games in an awful slump, before calling it quits on the season. This time, at the risk of jinxing him yet again (if one may recall, misfortune and I seem to have a flourishing relationship), I present to you, this:

Dec. 1, 2006 vs the Milwaukee Bucks

As of today, STAT has just barely missed logging in his fifth 20-10 game in a row, but he did manage yet another solid double-double. More importantly, the Suns have extended the league's current longest winning streak to seven in the process. (Frankly, had the Suns-Kings matchup not turned out to be a rout, Amare might just have gotten that 20-10, but I'm not one to complain against another 'W'.)

Next up for Phoenix is a pretty lengthy roadtrip. It's good to know that the team will be off carrying not only a swagger that only winners can pull off, but also an increasingly confident Amare Stoudemire among their ranks.

GO SUNS!!!

Credit where credit is due: to rdm2 for the video as well as to The Rising Suns for calling said video to my attention.

What's scary is that he doesn't even look 100% healed.

Amen!

We gotta love the newfound love for rebounding, though.
