Tipoff!

1 down, 81 to go!

It's tipoff week this week in the NBA, and this morning (Manila time) is the big day for my Phoenix Suns in particular. So far, they're off to a positive start, topping the Sonics, 106-99, in Seattle. The Suns started out a little shaky and rusty, but they still managed to pull out a win (as they should over what's supposedly a weaker, rebuilding team). Kudos to Kevin Durant for his very impressive game though.

Amare is still in his exciting, explosive form despite yet another knee surgery
a month ago (he just needs to keep the bad fouls in check, though).

The Phoenix Suns' adventures continue tomorrow with their home opener against Kobe and the Lakers. Go Suns! Eyes (still) on the prize!
