Mark Jackson is deluded

I'll have to agree with Scottie here. It's premature to say that. I will concede that it might be possible one day given the right circumstances - Kobe plays on and leads a team with the talent and cohesion of the greatest teams in NBA history, and win a championship a few times while doing it. Until those circumstances come to pass, there shouldn't be even second-thoughts that there's a greater player than MJ.

[Heck, with all of the recent rule changes that have favored perimeter players and the level of physicality the NBA meta-game had during the Jordan-era, we can probably never say if Kobe can even approach MJ's game.]

yay, bit posted it!

this is the video i was talking about yesterday, g and alvin. let the debates begin!

I'd just like to add that not only does Mark Jackson have the balls to say that on national television - he also has the cajones to say that in the presence of Scottie Pippen.

yeah...no one disses pippen's lover in his face >nods head< hehe

"man crush" amputa hahaha

sa clutch coin toss between kobe and mj?! tsk. mj thrives on the clutch. kobe tries. hehe

yun lang.

"kobe tries"?

i think that's giving kobe too little credit...

i think kobe's good...maybe the best all around player in the league today. o wait, maybe that's marion. well anyway, he's the best SCORER in the league as the numbers would say. and what's amazing is his ability to score at will and at any angle. wala siyang "secret weapon" kumbaga, yung tipong sure shot na parating gamit. if i'm not mistaken, karl malone had that fade away that he uses most of the time and never seems to miss. well anyway, that's what i see. korek me if i'm wrong na lang

regarding the comparison, whether he is or will be better than michael, only history will tell.

honestly, hindi ko masyadong sinubaybayan si jordan kaya di ko talaga masasabi. sa nba tv specials ko lang nakikita ang mga legendary moments of players of the past.
